Labeling and styling tools for GIS data

Module overview

The focus of this module is the many methods of stylizing and labeling GIS data within Civil 3D. We will work directly with the GIS connected data and extract valuable information for our project designs. Creating themed data, label based on GIS attributes.

This module takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to:

Stylize GIS data to clearly communicate how it effects the project
Label your GIS data based on attributes
Pull additional information from GIS data using themes, queries and analysis

Module pre-requisites

This module requires user-level knowledge of Civil 3D and is focused on best practices and its industry applications. If you don't have experiences with this product, we recommend you to take foundational training using one of the resources below:
