Module overview

In this module, you will learn how the level of detail for an existing Revit model can be managed using Categories and Subcategories. This process allows us to control exactly what Revit data we want to share with collaborating design teams and ensure models are provided with an appropriate level of detail.

This module takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to:

• Understand the purpose of Categories and Subcategories within Revit
• Utilize Categories and Subcategories when defining a 3D view for an existing Revit model
