Complete a series of tasks from the global navigation menu

Set a Home Page and use the Flow Production Tracking icon as a shortcut

Users can set a homepage by modifying the "Home Page" field, which can be found in a user's Account Settings.

Account Settings can be accessed by going to the user profile thumbnail on the top-right of the interface and selecting Account Settings.

Once you find the "Home Page" field: 

  • Select the pencil tool to edit the field.
  • If one exists, delete the currently existing home page by selecting the backspace key, or by selecting the "x" beside the name of the current homepage.
  • Type in the name of the page to be used as a Home Page, then when it appears, select it.
  • A new home page has now been set.

Users can quickly access their homepage any time from the global navigation menu by selecting the Flow Production Tracking icon in the top left of the menu.

Navigate to the Media page and play a version

For users working in a site that contains media, from the global navigation menu go to the Media page.

Select Browse in the left pane to browse all uploaded media.

Beneath All Projects, select All Versions in All Projects, which shows users any uploaded media on projects that they are allowed to view.

Play the very first file by selecting the play icon beside the thumbnail.

Playing a file will open up the Overlay Player.

The Overlay Player provides quick access to view uploaded media, create notes and annotations, and see any other media that has been uploaded to the same entity.

Play or pause the media from the timeline toolbar.

In the detail pane on the right, view other versions that have been submitted to the same entity, and see any notes that have been written.

To go back to the Media page, simply hit the "x" to close the Media player.

Open the Projects page to see how many Projects users have permission to see

To see what Projects a user has access to from the global navigation menu, Select Projects > View All Projects.

Go to the People page and find a user profile

Select the People tab.

Scroll through the list of names to find a user or search your name in the search bar.

Once you find your name, select it. This will link you to your user profile.

If a user doesn't have permission to access the People page, they can use the global search bar to find their user profile.

From the global navigation menu, type a name into the search bar. To make the search even faster, use the drop-down arrow to choose what entity you are searching for. Once a user's name appears, they select it to go to their Profile page.

Open the Apps drop-down to see what apps a user has access to

Users may not have access to all the Apps that Flow Production Tracking offers, if access to those apps has not been enabled, or permission to access those apps has been restricted.

Go to Apps to make note of which apps users have access to.

Switch between dark and light themes

Dark themes use light-colored text and icons on a dark background. The decision to use a dark theme will depend on a user's visual preference.

While Flow Production Tracking defaults to a light theme, you can easily switch to a dark theme.

Simply select the moon icon. Now you can continue to navigate around your site as usual.

To change back to a light theme, select the sun icon.
