Make and apply the button image

Any referenced datasets can be downloaded from "Module downloads" in the module overview.

  1. Download a valve image.
  2. Now go to pixlr.com/e/ and open your image.
  3. Select the Magic Wand and click on the white area. Change the tolerance and see how it affects your selection.
  4. Select the fill tool and fill the transparent area white.
  5. Click on the Draw tool and use the Brush to clean up other areas.
  6. Crop the image.
  7. Add a Layer then fill it white.
  8. Flatten the layers into one.
  9. Click on the Layer dropdown and select Flatten Image.
  10. Change the image size to 64 x 64.
  11. Add text.
  12. Change the color to black, size down to 12 and label it G-623.
  13. Save As
