Create an item

Any referenced datasets can be downloaded from "Module downloads" in the module overview.

Task 1: Create the makepate 868 item

  1. Opening the command line console by clicking control + shift + C.
  2. Type “makepat 868” and hit enter then OK.
  3. Then save this item in your database, select the folder, type in the name and click Save..
  4. Close the console.

Task 2: Edit the 868 item

  1. Right click on the icon and select edit.
  2. Select the Other tab and set your connectors. For this valve you will use your company’s 150#
    Raised Face flange connector.
  3. On the Item tab set the specification for your company’s pipework, the material, the Cut Type, and check the Bought Out box. Let’s also set the Service Type to Valve.
  4. On the Options tab leave these as their default values and just lock each option.
  5. Now on the dimensions tab enter the values and click OK.
