AutoCAD Sheet Set Manager - Create a new sheet set for existing drawings

Since the pallet is open, let's access the wizard from the pull down

select new sheet set to display the sheet set wizard. Again.

This time we'll start with existing drawings.

So click on that option, then click on next.

We'll name the sheet set as

M 3-1. This time with existing,

we'll add a description of existing sheet set

and choose the folder containing your data set for it to go to

click next to continue.

This step will look different to you.

It may even feel different as you're browsing for a folder,

not individual drawing files.

Once selected the layouts for all of the drawings in the folder will be displayed

and pre selected for inclusion in the sheet list,

there's also a import options button. Let's click on it

You can choose to prefix sheet titles with their file

name or create subsets based on the folder structure.

As we saw earlier.

There are no subsets in the folder we're going to select,

so we'll leave it unchecked

but make sure the top option is checked and click. OK.

Now let's click on the browse button and navigate to and select

the civil drawings folder that was included in your data set.

Click on. OK?

And every layout in every drawing in that folder will appear in the list.

At this point,

you could uncheck something you don't want,

but in our case, we want them all.

So we'll go on to the next step by clicking the next button.

This gets you to the confirm page.

Make sure everything is how you want it again. I'm happy with it.

The wizard will dismiss.

And the sheet set manager palette will open with the new sheet set you just created.

Let's go into the creation wizard one more time via the pallet.

Again, expand the when you pull down and select new sheet set.

lightweight sheet set that works with Autodesk Docs.

Its creation is very similar to the example project option.
