Design a device stand

Design a functional device stand with an attractive organic shape, complete with built-in storage capacity for smartphone or tablet accessories. Use your intermediate CAD skills and knowledge to create a 3D model using sketches, add dimensions and geometric constraints, apply fillets, analyze interferences, and 3D print the completed project. 

After completing this project, you’ll be able to:

• Design a customizable solid model using 2D sketches.
• Use Plastic tools to create a self-locating snap fit between two shelled bodies.
• Import an existing Fusion design that can be modified in the context of an assembly.
• Use the Offset Face tool and add joints to create a realistic representation of a working device stand.
• Prepare the model for 3D printing.
