Working with tables

Follow the steps that ensure data can be ordered and edited efficiently.

Step-by-step:

You can access and interpret data tables for various model elements in InfoDrainage.

  1. On the ribbon, Build tab, Data panel, click Tables to open the Tables dialog box.
A closeup of the ribbon, Build tab, Data panel with Tables selected.
Here, you can choose what information you can see in the table, and you can configure the appearance of the table. There are four tabs across the top, which correspond to the four types of data content: Inflows, Junctions, Stormwater Controls, and Connections.
  1. From the dialog box, open the Inflows tab.
The Tables dialog box with the four tabs highlighted and the Inflows tab called out as selected.
  2. Expand the Inflows node, then expand the Catchment Area node.
The Inflows tab with Inflows and Catchment Area nodes expanded.
  3. Expand the Time of Concentration node and enable the Percentage Impervious.
Inflows tab with Time of Concentration expanded and Percentage Impervious selected.
  4. In the Percentage Impervious column, enter 60 for the Percentage Impervious values:
    1. Click and drag the top cell down to select the entire column of cells,
    2. In the toolbar above the table, in the type box, change the value to 60
    3. Click the equals sign (=).
  • The table with Percentage Impervious values entered.

Tables are great for editing large amounts of data at one time. Use them throughout your model build process to enter and edit the data quickly.

Be aware that changes you make in a table affect the model view, and vice-versa.
