  • Explain the difference between simulation and digital twins—and how they’re used to optimize the manufacturing process.
  • Understand how cloud computing is used to store and process data and its advantages.
  • Describe the creation and evolution of digital platforms.
  • Explain the role of digital literacy and data skills in real time collaboration.

ASME and Autodesk have partnered to develop this course to promote Industry 4.0 skills in design and manufacturing. This is the fourth course in a series of self-paced courses to equip students with the knowledge and abilities needed to thrive in the industry 4.0 era of the manufacturing industry.
