Course overview
Industry 4.0 is the evolution of industrial revolutions. Whether you’re an engineer, a doctor, in retail, or in manufacturing, it’s very likely that industry 4.0 will likely have some sort of impact on your role. In this course, we’ll go over all the driving forces that are enabling this rapid change.
After completing this course, you’ll be able to:
- Explain the history of the major industrial revolutions.
- Describe what Industry 4.0 is as well as remaining challenges from Industry 3.0.
- List top technologies that comprise Industry 4.0 and review examples of how they are used in real-world based situations.
- Understand the pace of change for Industry 4.0 and skills required at each stage.
- Identify where the skills gaps are for the 3 critical roles in manufacturing.
- Describe how future generations will enact the change.
