InfoWater Pro UDF Introduction to Unidirectional Flushing

Module overview

Flushing can prolong the life expectancy of a water distribution system and reduce the potential for waterborne diseases. Using the InfoWater Pro Uni-Directional Flushing (UDF) extension, users can design systemic plans that direct flushed water in a single direction along a pipe to maximize velocity scour pipes and remove unwanted materials.

Once completed you'll be able to: 

  • Understand how unidirectional flushing (UDF) is used to maintain a water distribution system.
  • Be able to describe the considerations when implementing flushing operations.
